I was shopping around in a local gun store and offered to sell my Taurus .357mag M605(2 1/4"). I told him that it had only been fired about 50 times, and that I wanted about $250 for it. He said "I will take it if you bring it in".

I am wondering now if I am asking too little for the gun, given his quick response and the fact that he had not seen it yet. I only paid ~$300 for it new, so i figured $250 was high for a gun shop.

What do you guys think?

For a used Taurus, take the $ 250 and don't look back!!

Yes, $250. IMHO that's about right.

The best price new around these parts is $330. $70 of deprecation on a gun ain't that bad.

I remember pricing some snubs a while back and that seems fair for a used 605.

Yeah, they don't hold their resale value like a smith, but that's a good thing for those that like them ;)
