Well, I'm not spotting a recent thread on SX2s, so I'll be a little less subtle than I'd have originally liked...
Tried waterfowling for the first time today with a friend. Brought my SX2 supermag. We have no dogs, and no boat. It was pretty dirty to say the least. I thought my shotgun was just getting some water, but when I took it down just now, I can only describe it as "Quantico-nasty." Small leaves and sticks and grainy mud in every conceivable nook and cranny. Further, I hadn't cleaned it in a few trips to the trap range - the gas bracket and the magazine tube were a little gummy, needed a brass brush to get them clean. Nonetheless, the shotgun didn't hiccup once today. My buddy brought an 870, also worked fine (no surprise). But I've heard of people having issues with autoloaders in mucky conditions, no such trouble here.
Anyway, just thought I'd tack that up here, because I'm always looking for people's "real life" experiences on here before I make a purchase. SX2's are pretty dirt cheap now (compared to what I paid) now that the SX3's are out, so I certainly wouldn't hesitate picking up another if I ran into one.
