I was looking on ebay for a surefire forend for a mossburg 590 and I found a few for a winchester 870. will that one work? I dont know what the diffences are in the model numbers. SUREFIRE 618FA is for winchester. Surefire 617FGA Benelli, SUREFIRE 623FA FOREND is for mossburg. does anyone know what the diffences are beween them? and if they are interchangble?

not to poke fun but winchester does not make a 870,it is either a remmington 870 or a winchester 1300
and no on the interchangeable

You are looking for either the:
http://www.surefire.com/surefire/content/618fga_full.jpg
623FA Momentary and constant-on switching (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/prrfnbr/851/sesent/00/Momentary-and-constant-on-switching)

or

623FGA Momentary / constant-on / system disable switching (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/122/prrfnbr/858/Momentary-constant-on-system-disable-switching-)

If you have the NFA 14" gun you need the:

621FGA Momentary / constant-on / system disable switching (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/123/prrfnbr/859/Momentary-constant-on-system-disable-switching-)

or

621FA Momentary and constant-on switching (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/prrfnbr/852/sesent/00/Momentary-and-constant-on-switching)

The foreend on the 14" guns is shorter.
