Hi all!!! First post, hopefully this has not been posted hundreds of times.

I am replacing the original front bead of an 870 rifled slug barrel with a fiber optic bead. It is an older model where you tap in the bead.

My question is from which direction? Looking down the barrel from the butt of the gun (like you would aim it), do you push out the bead left to right or right to left?

Thanks for putting up with such a noob.

Since nobody responded, the front site slides out right to left when viewed from the rear of the gun. Trial and error. Thanks anyway!!

Welcome to TFL Acid Test. That doesn't happen very often around here, especially with a current production gun.

You might have had better luck in the gunsmithing board, there are some very good 'smiths that are members although sometimes it takes a few days for one of them to come around. Hopefully business is good for them.
