View Full Version : Red dots + shotgun

I was thinking about getting a BSA RD30/22SB red dot for my 88. Now, I have a top folding stock on it, so as far as when I'm not shooting, the sight will not be on it. These red dots don't really have to be zero'd do they? So taking it on/off on range days shouldn't be a problem.

I have a cheap Bushnell sportsman that I picked up from Sportsman's Guide I use on my tactical shotgun when shooting slugs. In my opinion it has been good. I can even get fairly tight groups when shooting slugs. I think I am going to change it out soon for a multi-reticle version. It is also very compact and your folding stock might fit over it. I have no experience with the BSA scopes, but I do like the red dot.
