Black Powder Double Actions acceptable?

Does any of the Old West-centric organizations allow the use of the old, black powder double action revolvers, e.g., the 1877 and 1878 Colt, the 1880S&W, the M&H/F&W, the Savage revolver, the British Bulldogs, etc?

The SINGLE ACTION Shooting Society doesn't. I've read some stuff that says NCOWS does, provided the weapons are period-correct. So some do allow DAs and some don't.
