Hello all, I'm new to the world of blackpowder guns and I was wondering how much Pyrodex should be used in my Pietta 1858 .36 Caliber. The book from Cabela's is confusing and the book from Pietta is equally confusing. Thanks in advance!

.36 loads from a lite one @ 15gr Black Powder to 25gr is good.

If you want to see some chronograph data for the similar .36 1851 Colt Navy:

So 18 - 21 grains could be considered a starting load...:)
