Telestock for 870.....which one?

What would be the best gear to equip a Rem 870 with a telestock?
I've been looking at Mesa Tactical hydraulic recoil reducing, and the Knoxx Specops.
Do the recoil reducing type stocks work well?
Any recommmendations on which way to go?

I got a Knoxx on my 870 and I love it it does'nt make much difference with target loads but run some slugs or OO buck in the gun and you will know it was worth the money.

thanks for the input. I lean to the SpecOps also because it seems to be priced reasonably compared to the Mesa tactical stuff.

I don't know about the price differences, but the recoil absorption is very good on the Knoxx Spec Ops stock. I even went as far as to remove the butt pad because I didn't think it was needed and it made the gun another 1/2" shorter for close quarters cornering.

You might take a look at Command Arms also. I haven't tried their shotgun stock, but I do have their AR-15 stock and a number of their other accessories. All very high quality. Prices aren't bad for items made that well.

I used a Knoxx on a Remington 7400 .308, it was a nice stock, then for $60 I sent it in to the factory to go from non recoil suppressing to recoil supressing, and it's now my favorite stock that I've ever owned. I have a bad right shoulder and I can usually only shoot about 50rds before I start to be sore enough to affect my accuracy, but I can shoot with that Knoxx all day long, it recoils like an AR .223.

So where is the best place to buy the Knoxx? I've looked on e-bay a few times but never ran across what I considered to be a "deal". Maybe should just bite the bullet and pay full price if it is as good as I have read.

Seems the best I have seen is abot $110. Cabellas has it now at that price, but its backordered.
