I've got a chance to buy a this Browning Sweet 16 in the orignial suit case it came in and the shotgun is in 100%. Is $1,300.00 a good price for it.

That is not a great price, but it is in the expected range of what they tend to sell for on the public forums, gunshows and bigger dealers
If it is an original Browning case then the price starts to be attractive.
There are still nice Sweets in pawn shops etc, so if your willing to take your time a nd burn a lot of shoe leather you can save some cash. I've paid as little as $600 for a 100% Sweet in the last year, but I watch the market for these every where.

Here's a nice one: www.bishopsfineguns.com/1353.htm
"BROWNING BELGIAN SWEET 16, 26" VENT RIB BBL CHOKED IMP CYL, 98% BLUE WOOD EXCELLENT WITH A COUPLE OF SMALL MARKS FLAT KNOB STOCK MFG 1971
Must be the improved cylinder choke that makes the difference.

As jeff writes, if you shop you may get it cheaper but from what I see and know from owners its in the price range if its close to 100%. The only thing I would do if I were to buy it would be to pattern it before I lay the money down.
