SDM sights

I have 625 smith and was wanting to know if anyone has used the SDM front sights. Does anyone know what size sight to purchase and where's a good place to find one. Are they easy to install? Or what about the gold bead, do these work well?

ETA: You just pull the sight back and lift it out front first, there is a spring that holds it in.
My 625 came with a gold bead, I didnt like it. It blended in with the carboard ISPC and IDPA targets that I shoot, almost the same color.
