Ive got a dillon 550b and a dmps 260 rem 24" barrel ar-15. Im just starting out in reloading and i need some suggestions for a load. I have rp brass, br2 primers, re-15 and H4350 powder. I also have 140gr smk's although i was looking for 142 gr smks. Anyone got a good load for this or suggest anything else i should use? thanks

You might try the lighter pills. 120 grain bullets won't take up as much room in the case. How far out can you seat those 140s and still function in the magazine?

I havent taken a measurement but i was using remington core loks that were 140gr and they functioned well. I have seen where the 123 scenars worked well.

Usually, the match bullets are going to have a much more slender nose (ogive) than the hunting bullets - that's how they get higher BC's.

Give us the report on that DPMS in .260 Remington. I was reading about them just last night. Tell us how it shoots.
