I finally managed to snag a second Ruger New Vaquero in gloss SS in 45 Colt as my main pair of pistols for CAS. Both are 4 5/8 bbls. my first one is serial no. 510-18XXX the second is 510-21XXX. 18XXX has a lighter trigger and is perfect, than than 21XXX. what is the easiest way to adjust the trigger pull weight on this revolver?

to ajust trigger pull contact Brownell's or Wolfe springs and get a set of 40 oz trigger springs. should match up the triggers nicely

I must admit to being a bit skeptical...but that trigger is smoothed out now :D My other Ruger New Vaquero came with a perfect trigger. Now the new one is pretty mutch a match for it. :D

I was skeptical, too. But I did like they said and the trigger is now smoother and has a lighter pull. I'm happy.:D
