ultra slugger a good shotgun and how far out can u shoot a deer with it???

Yes that is a good shotgun. You should keep your shots limited to your shooting abilities. If you can't hit a paper plate then your shooting too far. If you're a good shot I'd say you shouldn't shood past 100 yards. Just practice shooting paper plates at 25, then 50, then 75, and 100 yards and see what you can do with it.
