I sometimes get PMs from users whose profile says "Number of Posts: 0", so I assume this means they are not "registered users", correct? Anyhow, I reply to them by PM, and it says that my reply is sent, but is it really sent? How can they get PMs if they're not registered? Me no understand. Me very stupido. Thanks. :)

Um... Count me with you! I wasn't even aware that non-registered folk could PM!!

No. Zero posts simply means they haven't ever posted anything in the main forums. (Posts in the Buy/Sell/Trade forums aren't counted toward a member's post count.) It is virtually impossible for anyone to create a PM without being registered. They have a user name, right? Therefore, they are registered.

We have literally thousands of registered members with zero post counts.

OK, yeah, Mal, just figured that out - duh! They were registered lurkers with no posts. They got the PMs, I also just now discovered (since I just got replies - finally). Thanks!

You see, it is very difficult for Art & myself to wrap our heads around the idea of keeping our "mouths" continually shut in the forums! :D
