HI EVERYBODY....You all have really been a great help with my beginning reloading questions. I am about ready to purchase a new Dillon 550 but before I do I want to get a manual...I have been thinking about trying one that is software driven. Do you have any suggestions as to which is the most usefull? I am also interseted in your opinion as to what is the best printed reloading manual. Thanks again!! :)

I've browsed a few on-line loading data sites; not all that many loads shown on line. Haven't used any from floppy or CD.
I'm partial to the Sierra Books, in large part because of the info on exterior ballistics. I also use a fairly recent Hornady book.
Like I suggested on another thread here, when you go to any gun show, and run across "good used" books at some reduced price, buy one or more. It's amazing how often I refer to an old Lyman lead-bullet manual that's maybe 40 years old...
I've recently run across an outfit in California which puts out booklets for just one caliber, such as .308 or .30-'06, etc. They list all manner of powders, bullets, primers, etc. I think they sell for $6.95 each...Can't help further at the moment; I'm 1,400 miles from my book. :(

Sierra offers CD for their entire loading manuals and it is quite extensive. Believe it runs about 60.00 plus or minus a bit. I purchased one and downloaded it and is a good system.
