Just a bead. You don't aim a shotgun, you point it. It depends on the use I guess. I'd use rifle sights for slugs or turkey.

I agree with sparky - point and shoot. Rifle sights would be preferable if you were primarily shooting slugs, but versatility is the name of the game for me.

I agree with the other guys: on a general purpose shotgun: bead
Ghost ring for defense.
Either a better model ghost ring or rifle for slugs.

Purpose is the shotgun is key. It will help you decide on the proper sights. I have beads on some and tritium post w/ghost ring on others.
Hmmm . . . a hunting I will go.

But a dull little bead will do if I have to have one. I'm assuming here we're talking about shooting shot out of shotguns and not using them as rifles.
