New Turkey Zapper

Was in Wally World the other day, and I spotted a 870 Super-Mag with a 26" barrel, Realtree HD camo, and sling studs for $298. Seemed like a good deal for a Super-mag in camo. I've always wanted a camo shot slinger, so I took the plunge.

Add-ons were as follows:

Set of William's Fire-Sights "Slugger" fiber optic sights.
Old-style safety, safety spring, detent ball.
HS Strut "Undertaker" Hevi-Shot XF choke
Allen synthetic sling (camo) with Uncle Mike's sling swivels

With Remington Hevi-Shot #5's (3"), it shoots a crazily dense pattern at 30 and a dense, lethal pattern at 40. Can't wait till Saturday to take it afield.

Nice show - That's a good price on the 870 considering all the extras (camo, rear sight, etc.). Just 3 days until the season opens, and just 6 days until I can get out there & try out my new turkey zapper - this one:
