Which Scope for a T/C Omega .50

My buddy received a Thompson/Center Omega .50 cal muzzleloader for Christmas and wants to put a scope on it. I don't know anything about muzzleloaders but showed him the Bushnell Trophy 1.75-4x32 scope I have on my Bennelli M-1 12ga. shotgun and he loved it. Would that be a good choice for his .50 cal T/C muzzleloader?

Yes, that's a good choice - why not....I think I have a Legend Bushnell 2-7x32mm on my ML.

I have a simmons 3.5-10x50 on mine. It works great in low light. It holds zero fine.

i was just curious on what kind of scope mount everyone uses i saw one at cabelas that was a one piece mount so you dont have to screw around with the mounts then the rings they are machined together. any suggetions we will wait to see if minnesota passes the law still praying!!!!
