Which would you choose for CAS? I could get any one of the above for a good price. Please keep it to the ones I have listed, thanks...

I hit the tauras simply because you need a pair to compete. I would rather have the ruger because that's what I used to use and they are trouble free.

I picked the Ruger, have several found them to be good reliable firearms, and when you aren't shooting CAS, you can pound some pretty substantial loads through them.

Thanks guys! I have decided to get the Vaquero with the holster. There is one identical to it used here in town and I can have matching ones for a decent price. Again, I appreciate the input!

The few guys I know that shoot CAS use Rugers - they are indestructable and about 2 for the price of 1 Colt (More like 3 for 1)

I do not shoot CAS, but I like SAA's and I have an Italian Colt copy that I enjoy very muck. I have owned several Ruger SA's and they don't feel right to me - I like the old Colt type mechanism-but they are overwhelming favorites in CAS.
