Well, I would like your opinions on these revolvers. Are they manufactured under US quality control? etc.
Thank you,

They are made in the Philippines you can check their website and see what you think: http://www.armscor.com.ph/home.htm
I believe some of the products are imported and sold under the name of Charles Daly:

They are essentially, Colts. Colt Cowboy revolvers were ARMSCOR-built. Rock Island, Charles Daly, ARMSCOR and Colt revolvers, 1911s and other parts and pieces are built by ARMSCOR in the PI. High standards, good steel, Colt quality, durability and in my experiences, reliable. They are made to Colt patterns/designs. I would purchase without reservation.

I posted my question because we had to buy a revolver for the company security. Went to the store on friday and asked to see the ARMSCOR mod.200 .38spl, Wow! they handed me the gun on display and it did not shoot! there was something wrong with the trigger hammer mechanics, I would pull the trigger and not move, after a couple of tries it pulled back but it did not engage the hammer.
The clerck went and got me another one, shot 50 rounds with no problem. It seems to have good trigger pull and it is accurate, the finish is bad, not a gun you would be proud to show around, but I am sure it will serve its porpuse.
Thanks for the back guys!:)

The quality of Armscor is hit and miss. Some seem OK some as mentioned above lack a lot. For those who tried to use the new High Standards for match shooting removed the sears and had them rehardend and ground( perhaps I should say many of those shooters did ). I'm sure your security people hold you in high regard for your concern for their welfare.

Don't know about the revolvers but all the Armscor, Charles Daly, and RIAs never missed a beat. If you're looking for a reasonably priced revolver for duty use try the Ruger SP101 with a 3in barrel in 38spl+p or 357mag.
