Anyone with some suggestions. I am looking for a good pair or muffs- protection and comfort are much more important than extra features. These will be used primarily indoors and I am shooting 357 sig (loud). Looking up to $60
Also, does anyone know of any particularly good eye protection that fits over prescription glasses. Can't do contacts, and hate to have to update my goggles everytime my prescription changes. Not sure what price range to look at here.
Thanks

Go to an audiologist and have a set custom made. Price is in your range. I've been using mine for 15 years, and completely satisfied.

Thats an answer that I haven't seen anywhere, and its seems the most logical. I'll definitely look into that!!!

Jayb is right. The custom plugs are awesome. Gun shows is another great place ot get them.

For a tight budget, indoor range with a loud gun, I'd suggest getting some cheap foam plugs (under a dollar a pair) and wear them under a pair of $20 muffs from Dillons. (Dillon's also sells packs of plugs 50 for $12)

Take a look at the Peltor electronic muffs. I love mine. Oakley and Wiley X are hard to beat for eye wear.

Yeah, double plug if you're shooting loud stuff indoors. No reason to blow a bunch of money on in-ear plugs, use them a few times and toss and so you're germ-free on the actual portion that goes into your ears.
Toss some of those AO Safety "Shotgunner" muffs over your years, they're very light, have a low profile so if you want to shoot a rifle, you don't have a big muff sticking out to hit the stock.
Whether you go with some type of expensive ear protection or not, put muffs over your plugs.
The absolute best glasses are Rudy Project but then again that's quite a bit more than you're wanting to spend. Go with something simple that gives good coverage on your eyes and start shootin!

Foam plugs, Peltor Presidentials (or any muff rated at 29db); all under $50.
Skip the fancy expensive stuff.
I wear my regular eyeglasses (for 43 yrs).
Admittedly, my regular eyeglasses are also OSHA-spec glass-lensed eyeglasses. You can, too...
