out of a 20 ga?
I 'm wondering if this would be possible and/or is it worth it.
The reason I'm asking this is because all I have is a 20 ga with a rifled choke and the foster slug doesnt give the accuracy I was hoping for.
If anyone can provide some info- many thanks
Ps.
what size/caliber is equal to the 20ga?
thanks again

I have a rifled choke tube for my 12 gauge and it is pretty accurate with the sabot style slugs. I think they are also available in 20 gauge.

I believe both Lyman and Lee make slug casts to pour your own slugs. I have used the Lyman pellet type in the 12ga, works really well. The Lyman slugs drop into a shotshell wad, I don't know much about the Lee slugs.

Also, try a few more brands of slugs before despairing. The Rottweil Brenekke has worked well for me as to accuracy in a couple shotguns and is quite effective....

sabot /and foster molds already- the thing is that the sabot is smaller than the rifling on the choke..
I'm shooting a russian "saiga" with a russian choke- maybe i can use a different brand of "rifled choke" would anyone know what would attach to a "saiga"?
ps. I've used a few different BUT expensive slugs/factory made shells that were good but I'm trying to make my own "good stuff"
Thanx again for any help
