This is one neat little dude. It was $22.20 retail, but on sale for $18 - and this is a lot of knife for $18 - it came with two sheaths - one plastic and one leather with ornamental stampings. It's lightweight, small, sturdy, and feels great in the hand. Can't have enough small razor-sharp skinners...

I REALLY like the design ... too bad the steel wasn't harder. At Rc 55-57 ... you're right when you say "Can't have enough small razor-sharp skinners..." 'cuz one won't be enough to finish a skinning job :eek: (of course you CAN resharpen it, but then your sharpener gets all cruddy)

AUS-4 is not a very good knife steel, not enough carbon . They should have made it from AUS-8.

errrm, oh. Guess that's why it's so cheap. Well, sharpening knives is fun mindless work to me, so...
