How is the chamber support in the Glock 20 ? Will the Glock 20 handle 180's at 1200 fps plus ? Will it handle it with a Bar-Sto ?

Dear Shooter:
I have a glock 20 in 10MM and it functions like all glocks - superlatively!
However, I would never "throat" the factory glock bbl - the 10MM needs all the support it can get.

The standard Glock M20 barrels I've seen all had decent support.
'Extreme' ammo and M20; function can be (very) iffy, whether modified or not. Highly recommend sticking with standard 10mm ammo (even DoubleTap) or using a different launch platform if one MUST shoot 'heavy' 10mm.
But it can be done; how much money you got?

I better stay with my Smith 610 for heavy loads. I have a 5 inch barrel for my P229 that will send a 40 S&W 180 at 1200 fps . So I don't need a glock I can take that money and get me a G2 contender barrel in 375 JDJ,
Thanks,Keith
