VangComp Systems also sells Mag extensions for the 870. I would have baught one from VangComp instead of the TacStar if I knew about them at the time. The VangComp Mag extension is the most expensive of the bunch though.

Look in the Shotgun News----R-guns???------Hoplite???-----one the major advertisers in there have real deal Remington ones---expensive though at $80-----but there is nothing better for your shotgun than Remington factory.

What kind of 870 do you have? It might have dimples in the mag tube that'll mess with you putting on an extension and having it work properly.

It was a matt black finish and matched my 870 Express well. I purchased it with the gun from Vang Comp.
