Galco F.E.D. Paddle for a Springfield 1911--good fit?

Is the Galco a good fit for a Springfield 1911 Full Size? Does the thumb break latch in this combination?

I like the adjustable screws, but wonder about the depth. Anybody carry in this combination?

I carried a Colt 1911 in a F.E.D. paddle for about three years (the gun and holster were stolen in '94). It was well made and handy as hell when I wanted to take it off and put it back on without a hassle, or unfastening my belt. I also have a F.E.D. paddle for my Beretta 92, as I don't like to carry it IWB.
