I'm looking for a tactial leg holster for a 1911, there are so many out there, most are probably crap. Any suggestions from people who use them would be appreciated.

Check out High Speed Gear ... https://www.highspeedgearinc.com ...

I have one of their drop holsters with the flap and like it a lot. Its the most comfortable drop holster I've used and stays snug on your leg. I prefer the flap, especially with this type holster, but its easily removed if you dont want it there. Its very well made and well worth the money.

Also look into Assault Systems holsters. I have one and it's very well made (along with their fanny pack for CCW :p :D ). These are used by a lot of SWAT teams and SRT.

The ones mentioned are OK, but the Safariland Icantrememberthenumber tactical rig is the heat. I rarely use any of my nylon holsters anymore.

Safariland is the way to go if you're willing to pay for it...something along the lines of $125 to $150 I think.
