Does anyone know where the term 'Point Shoulder' originated? I thought it originated with Applegate, because 'Point Shoulder' is the term everyone uses to describe the technique he expoused. The actual term 'Point Shoulder' doesn't appear anywhere in his books, however, and I can't seem to track the actual origin of the term.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

I've heard "point shoulder" used in range commands before, but havent really heard it defined very well. Whenever I hear it I just shrug and assume the Weaver :D Nobody tells me different, so I must be right ;)
