has any body done the Rhineland arms smle .45acp conversion?
how'd it go?

also can a smle barrell be fitted to a bsa p14 .303? as my p14's pretty tatty and if i've a spare barrell i may as well use it ;)

There's a good writeup on the conversion at www.surplusrifle.com .It sounds like a neat conversion, but I wish I had bought a Marlin 45 Camp Carbine when they were more available.

looks easy enough, even for me :D
going to talk with my local arms officer to see about importing kit(s)
sporterised smle's are cheap enough and easily available over here......got a trip home first - so figure a month or so before i realy get serious though
