P230 9x18U slide locked back

At the range today, the slide on my P230 chambered in 9x18U(Police) locked back midway through a magazine. This particular model doesn't have a slide release, only a decocker. Was firing Geco 9x18U without any problems with the ammo. No duds, therefore, not fired after a dud.

Everything looks normal including the barrel. Slide is almost fully locked back. From there, I am only able to retract the slide back about 1/8 of an inch. Slide refuses to move forward at all.

Suggestions, please! Would love to be able to fire the darn thing again. :rolleyes:

" The slide lock is a lever on the top of the left frame rail, right above the mag well. Take a small screwdriver, and while you are pulling back slightly on the slide to relieve the recoil spring tension, see if you can push the slide lock down with the screwdriver (push down on the end of the lever towards the rear of the pistol). It may have a broken spring or have something stuck underneath it."
