Amigos,

I have a side by side 20ga with only the words "Habicht" stamped on each of the barrels. I think the gun is Spanish, although "habicht" is the German word for "hawk".

Does anyone have an idea what this gun may be worth in 98% condition, and who is the actual manufacturer?

Gracias in advance.

It's probably too old to make any difference to the OP, but Laurona produced a line of "Habicht" shotguns at one time; before WW2, Sauer also used the name on a line of their lower-end side by side hammerless guns.

Try this site. It has proof, date code and maker's marks.

Take the gun down and look on the flats and water table - if European, there will be proof marks and other codes. A pic would be best, otherwise, a thorough description of all of the marks would help
