Anyone know of manufacturers who are making rifles and pistols in .38-40? Any help would be appreciated.

Handguns - I just saw a NIB 3rd generation Colt for 995 on the Web. Cimarron out of Texas has them also, 4 3/4, 5 1/2, and 7 1/2. Rifles I'm not sure, but try Cimarron or Navy Arms.

Winchester recently made a repo model 1892 and cimmaron makes an excellent revolver called the P-Model along with Colt but the latter is hovering around a thousand bucks. I hope this helps as I too am fond of anything in 38-40 caliber. Ruger used to make the blachawk in 10mm and 38-40 as a convertable revolver. The 38-40 in factory winchester loading is almost a ballistic duplicate of the 40 smith and wesson. I hope this helps.

The last catalog I received from CDNN Investments at Abiline Tx had some .38-40 rifles listed.
