My dad has a 1931 Model A Ford Classic car and he wants to find a tommy gun to go in a violin case he picked up.
He does NOT want a 700 dollar replica, demil, or aluminum receivered parts kit.
Let me take that back, he would love one of those, but he wants to spend like 50-100 bucks.
So where can i find a toy tommy gun that will fit in a violin case. Plastic can be painted and it does not need to be functional necessarliy as it is for display only.
Thanks,

An Airsoft one would look good in a violin hardcase. But you are looking at about $250-300. It would come completely painted and assembled. I think the only airsoft ones available are the M1A1 WW2 model and not the 1921 model that can take drums.

Those look good but still far too pricey for this project.

1/3 down the page, the Thompson gun. $99 fit the bill?

Wow! A 600 round drum mag! Isn't that a "DC" mag using the original Roman number designation?

Dont know if this helps, but

It might be a little small, then again it might work.
They have some pretty cool stuff on there.

Only Airsoft Thompson I've seen was a replica of a 1921 or 1928, and it was truly full size.
That being the case, you'll really need a cello case or a guitar case to house it. Both violin and viola cases will be FAR too small to hold the gun, even with buttstock detached.
Good luck - -
