own a taurus 45 colt..thing has a 3 inch barrel with vents no less! ...suspect there is little chance it will generate enough velocity to expand hollow points much at all.
May be as well off with a good lead bullet. what ammo is being used out there in the snubby old big bores like 44 special and 45 colt?
