Need recommendations on two IWB holsters. One for a S&W 6906 and One for a 3" S&W M65. Not sure which will become primary SD carry. Thanks.

I had an Alessi for my Kahr K9. Beautiful holster, but did take significant break-in before I could perform a clean draw.
The first few draws, when the holster was new, would result in the pistol AND holster releasing from my belt.
I'll let others take over the jokes from here. ;-)

I really like the Kydex IWB's that Blade-Tech puts out...I own 3 different ones, and each is made by hand and dont exsist before you order it..takes about 3 weeks. I get the model with the rubber loops/snaps tha is adjustable from straight to FBI forward cant...they run 59.95 + shipping
and I agree..there is nothing worse than 1. Breaking in boots and 2.Breaking in a holster! its much worse when its a Level 3 Duty security holster(they can't get it out and neither can you, lol)

Of note is the shield on the side of the holster that contacts your body...protects the gun from perspiration and you from being gouged by a hammer etc.

I have had great sucess with holsters made by FIST. Every holster is custom made for the particular gun you choose. http://www.fist-inc.com/
I have found quality to be high and cost very reasonable. Turn around time has been from 10 days to two weeks. Give their net site a look and see how it might meet your needs. Good shooting;)

While PCS is most known for pocket holsters, I have the XDC for three different pistols and like it a bunch.
