I am looking high and low for better sights on my Henry 22 lever gun. I don't want a scope, just some williamsesque peep sights.
Have any of you fellows installed peeps on a Henry? Can I modify another dovetail sight to fit my rifle, if so what do I do with the front sight? TIA

Other than having the side of the reciever drilled an tapped for a Williams, try the Williams "Guide" for the grooved reciever top. It may require that you replace the front Blade with a taller one. This sight if they still make it, clamps to the 3/8" grooves. I know that they make one for the Ruger 10/22, as well as one that mounts to a standard Weaver style base.
