I've had a GPS III Plus for years and love it. They must be similar, so what's the question?

what I want to do is mark the location of my deer stand and hunting spots then be able to find my way back to them. I know how to make a way point but cant figure out the track back or how to go to the marked way points

Sent an email but this is for everyone else's benefit,
there are two ways and both are most usefull if you have a compass with you.

First way is to use the "page" button to get to the page that has a list of directories, it looks like this

nearest waypoints
waypoint list
waypoint
routes
dist and sun
system menu
find city

Use the big 4way button to highlight nearest waypoints and press "enter"
select the waypoint you want to go to and then press "enter" again.
you now have your waypoints coordinates the bearing to the waypoint and the distance.

Second method is to then press the "goto" button then "enter and this will bring up the moving road which will guide you to your waypoint.
NOTE, the moving road can only tell you which way to travel if you are moving so it can see which direction you are traveling. Very usefull if you are in a boat and are on your way to a fishing spot but not much use to you walking.

I always use the first method then get out the compass and take a sighting, then I'm on my way.

hope this helps
