Remember this one? Does anybody know what happened to it, other than the assault weapons ban? When I was a kid, I loved this gun!

A couple of years ago, the designer Mark Three was trying to sell the patents, prototypes, and production rights for $350,000 (US).

In the newest SAR the original prototype is being offered for sale;
"The unit is the one-of-a-kind factory prototype that Mr. Anderson used during the H.P. White Laboratory tests and the subsequent DoD trials. It has met and exceeded the Mil-Spec. standards put forth for this weapon type. The MK3 was the design model used for the futuristic weapons systems portrayed in the Terminator motion picture series and several other productions.This gun in "LIVE"/
Included in this package: Copies of all corresondences between Mr. Anderson and dozens of the world's largest arms merchants along with copies of both U.S. and British patents; Acceptance letter from Jane's for the book placement, invitation letter from the Musee D'Armes De Liege; several hard-bound catalog books with entries on the Jackhammer; and copies of all form 4's. Also included is an original prototype "wet suit" adjustable bouyancy soft case for underwater transport.

Being full auto no more can be made for civilian production. Not sure whether the company (Pancor Corp, Mark 3 Co. John A. Anderson-President) is still even in business.
