This was made by S&W (*&*) according to the barrel. Is it one of the "Montgomry Ward" copies?
Is it a decent shotgun?
What is a decent price range?
Thx,C-

Cpileri, Eastfield was a trade name used by Smith & Wesson on their shotguns. These were probably actually manufactured by Howa in Japan.

Any ideas on the year? I hear Howa quality varies depending on the year of make.

I show the 916 as being manufactured by S&W in Springfield Mas. Discontinued in 1972. The Model 1000 and 3000 series were by Howa.

I've seen them from time to time at our local gunshop. They usually sell for $250-300. Quality is OK, nothing special though.
