I've been working on a bunch of damn sparrows that roosted in my barn with CCI .22 birdshot. I went to buy more shells the other day and came across some by Federal. They're crimped, pattern much tighter, and are alot cheaper ( 50 Federal for $4, 20 CCI for $3) The only trouble is they're loaded with #10 shot and hit way to hard to use inside the barn. I tested them on some scrap siding and they almost went clear through from 30 ft, left really deep divots all over it. At 30 ft, they kept a tight pack about 10 inches across, with lots of flyers and strays. They would work great for anyone who needs to get rid of rats, snakes or other pests at close range on the ground or outside.
Just thought I 'd let everyone know, I think I remember someone looking for crimped shells awhile back on here.

Winchester makes them also. Last box I got at a close/liquidations sale. 60% off of $3.99.
