The o/u's are made by SKB in Japan and are very good guns. The s/s are made in Spain or Italy they list it on there website. The s/s are new this year

I used an Orion 12 ga. O/U during the last bird season, and I like it. The gun fits me perfect, and shoots where I aim it.

The decision for me came down to Weatherby vs. Beretta vs. Franchi. Out of the three, the Weatherby just felt better and lighter than the other two. I've know the guy that owns the gun store forever, and he swore that the modified Greener crossbolt lockup of the Weatherby was the strongest. I don't know that I would ever shoot one loose or have any problems with any of them, because I don't shoot that much (If it's good enough for John Wayne, it's good enough for me). The Browning was out because of price, and they don't fit me as good as the Weatherby anyway. I like the looks of the Weatherby better than the Beretta or Franchi (I opted for the Grade II because of the silver receiver - I thought it would be more trouble free as far as cleaning and rust goes).

Whichever you choose, just make sure that you have shouldered it and that it fits you. If you haven't tried different brands, you'll be surprised at how different each one feels to you. Good luck.
