Which grade Loctite for scope mount?
Hi,
I have a mini-14 ranch and have a Weigand ("Weaver style"?)scope base installed with a Tasco Propoint red dot sight on top. I would like to better secure the scope rings to the mount. Which grade Loctite would you use for this task? Blue? Red? Black? The only type I have right now is "QuickTite" by Loctite and it's blue. Thanks! TCW |

Use the blue stuff you've got. It'll hold it tight, but you'll still able able to remove the screw if you ever want to.
DON'T use the red stuff, unless you want that thing in there forever.
