refinish Mossberg 500

I was wondering if there is any way to refinish a mossberg 500A
I use the gun for play mostly (don't hunt with it) It has a 20 in barrel and an extended mag that meets the barrel. I am particularly interested in getting it chromed or something of the like

Any information will be appreciated

Refinish for what?

Without knowing that, I can only offer general advice.

Yeah, there's no reason you can't refinish your rifle.

The receiver is aluminum, so that won't parkerize.

Brownells offers many paint type finishes, which you spray on and then bake. They do a real nice job if you follow the directions.

If you're willing to send it out, there are a buttload of places that will do it.

There's a refinishing place that advertises every 3 days on the FAL files message board (http://www.l1a1.com)
