I purchased a walther pp with nazi proof marks in 7.65mm a while back at an auction. The guns metal has a distinctive red tint to it; so much so that the grip panels were stained red. I looked in my antique guns book; but found nothing about red walthers.Any help with this would be greatly apprieciated.

Matt 45:
Opinion: From your description It sounds like the gun was either refinished or finished at the factory, during mfg with the bluing tubs to hot. HJN |
