Just picked up my 9c I won off GB.....

Got this beauty off of Gunbroker for $455 NIB , three 12rd. mags plus front and rear night sights. It has a 3/29/2013 test fire date and it defiantly has the new trigger/reset so nothing to do but clean, re-lube and get to the range ASAP. My FS 9, this 9c and another 9c I handled at a local shop all had the new trigger and all had a March 2013 test fire date so if you find one around that month, it should have the upgrade.

I don't think I did too bad price wise with what came with it.

Awesome deal! My 40c was test fired in April, so I assume it has the newer trigger, but either way the trigger is amazing, as is the rest of the gun.

You did very well. I have the 9c and it is one of my favorite carry guns. Bought mine early this year and am very satisfied with the trigger, even though it may be before the update.

I shoot my own reloads consisting of either 115 gr JHP or 125 gr cast with 5.0 gr of W231.

I did a little research. It takes about 2 seconds to verify which trigger you have. Field strip the gun and you can clearly see the shape of the sear.

Here are some pics.

APEX ON LEFT - NEW STYLE S&W ON RIGHT
They are VERY similar

APEX ON BOTTOM- OLD STYLE S&W ON TOP
They are VERY different

Nice buy! I have the FS9 with the old trigger system which I don't mind and also 2 Shields... One in 9 and the other in 40

Great guns!

Thanks! I had a 9mm Shield as well, but went with the XDS in 45acp instead for daily carry. This Compact could make for a nice winter carry though.
