Bacterio, I actually run one of Stag's 3G compensators on my 3 gun rifle and it does not push the barrel down. The early design did, but they since corrected it and very few of their early compensators are actually on the public market. The Stag 3G is not nearly as good of a compensator/brake as the two that I am about to mention.

OP, if you want a good comp or brake go with either an SJC Titan or a Surefire brake.
