Source for Remington Model 8 magazine in 35 Rem.
I have a Remington model 8A chambered in 35 Remington that has a magazine with a bum mag. The gun will feed properly when cycling by hand, but will jam when it is fired and cycles.
The way it jams is that somehow the bolt does not pick up the next round and forces the round down into the magazine and wedges it in the mag with the nose pointed to the sky. The feed lips look damaged, but could it be a weak magazine spring? Anyone have a source for a mag or know someone who could refurbish mine? I can get one for a Model 81 in 300 Savage, but don't know if they interchange? Thanks for any help.

Piece of cake
Here's everything you need...but it's stripped...so you have to figure out what you need & buy it. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...spx?catid=4347 If it's just a spring thing...take the springs to a local ACE hardware store...they'll find a match. |

There is no magazine listed on the link you posted.

Here's a magazine outer box only, no mag spring or follower.
