Winchokes in production?
As I understand it, FN/Winchester is resuming production of the 1300 in the new facility in Dixieland. Has the production of Winchokes resumed? Or am I overlooking the right mail-order distibutor? I was really looking forward to a 'Made in Japan' 1300, but as long the gun is still being made its all good.

Here's another option for the old style Winchokes that didn't fit flush, these have the knurled ends.

You can get them almost anywhere. FN/Browning/Winchester calls them Browning Invector choke tubes. Not the Invector-Plus, just standard Invector.
http://www.browning.com/products/cat...&type_id=38768 They fit Mossbergs too. "Browning Choke Tube: Browning Invector, Mossberg Accu-Choke, Winchester Win-Choke" Last edited by johnbt; March 6, 2009 at 10:52 PM. |

Standard Invector for the Winchester... that is interesting. I had not heard of that before. I'll have to get out one of each and give it a try, thanks.
