BSA or Tasco

I'm looking into buying a scope for my savage .223. I do mostly target shooting at 100 yards. I'm on a limited budget and I am looking at 8-32x BSA scopes and 10-40x Tasco scopes. Just wonder what you guys would recomend. I am trying to spend less than $150. Thanks for the help.

For under $150, I'd take a look at Bushnell Banner series. I've got one and its been outstanding for a low end scope. I'm guessing you could find a 3x9 for right around 100 yards.

I currently have a 3-9x simmons on my rifle but I'd like to get something with more power.

The Bushnell Banner series comes in various powers. My Bushnell is actually a 6x18. It's a great scope for open range long shots out west but a bit of overkill for deer in the wooded east.
