Bring my Browning A-500 back from the dead?!?

My Browning A-500 died. The magazine tube has disconnected from the reciever. It happened at the range, and I litterally stood there holding a bunch of parts.

I've talked with Midwest Gun works, and they indicate that it would cost more to repair than the gun is worth. Pity, cause I can't (couldn't) seem to miss with that gun.

Anybody else experience this minor tradgety? Any other course of action that have allowed you to bring the A-500 back from the dead?

I would look for a used one - there are a lot of them around - and just swap out the parts you need to make up one good gun.
